Math Challenge Tournament
What: Cougar Ridge Elementary is hosting the 2024 National Math Challenge Tournament. This exciting event provides a valuable and fun opportunity for our young students to showcase their skills in a variety of math topics. Math Challenge Tournament is a National Mathematics tournament open to Grade 2 – 5 students. Students in Grade 1 can participate; however, they will be competing at a grade 2 level, division 2. When: Saturday, April 20, 2024
Where: Cougar Ridge Elementary, MPR
Who: Grade 2-5 students
Time: 3:00pm PST
Duration: 1 hour to complete the test
Registration Deadline: March 15, 2024

Cost: $25 per student Tournament fee is non-refundable and non-transferable - 20% of the tournament fee will be given back to participating schools (through the MCT give back programs).
This tournament is in-person only and not available online. Seats are limited and first come first serve. All registered students will immediately receive a registration confirmation email containing additional information. If you don’t see the confirmation email, please check your spam or junk folder.

Question: During registration, there is a dropdown question asking for Tournament Division.
Answer: Cougar Ridge participants should choose Division II. Division I is for kids who are enrolled in full day accelerated programs like Merlin.

Answer: Awesome and thank you so much! Just answer yes to the volunteer question during registration. We’ll also have a signup for those not participating but would like to help out.
