2024-2025 PTSA Membership Open August 7!

Join our Cougar Ridge PTSA to take advantage of membership benefits, yearbook, donations, and volunteer opportunities.  Please note, membership needs to be renewed each year.  If you want to receive a school directory, you must be a PTSA member.  We welcome your support - thank you!

Action Needed- If you purchased your PTSA Membership before school started, please go back into the PTSA website and update your child's teacher.  This will make it easier for us to deliver things like gift-a-book/yearbooks/etc.  Thank you!

Volunteer Opportunities

Interested in helping our Cougar Ridge PTSA next year? – There are many events you can help with such as Book Fair, Spelling Bee, Chess Club, STEAM Club, Science Fair, Art Fair, Reflections, Bingo, Gift-a-Book, and Staff Appreciation. Support roles are available such as webmaster and liaison to Issaquah Schools Foundation. A wonderful way to meet other parents is to help with Meet the Teacher and Kindergarten Playground Night. If you have a lot of time, please consider the Fundraising Committee. If you have a little time, we need help with the school's emergency supplies. Every role is important and any time you can give us is incredibly valuable and appreciated!  Please reach out to Kim Beaudoin if you would like more info about any of these positions.  We also welcome new ideas on how to support our wonderful community of teachers and students.

Get involved with Cougar Ridge PTSA! – This is a great way to meet other parents in your community and help our amazing school.  We currently have several supportive positions available.  Please contact Kim Beaudoin to find a committee that fits your interests.

        Cougar Ridge Green Team News!

We are launching a new initiative with local business Small Threads!  If this is the time of year where you clean out your kids' closet and drawers, those clothes and shoes can be used to benefit Cougar Ridge! Our school will receive funds from all *clean and resaleable* clothes and shoes at the consignment store! Anything not sold will be donated to KidVantage. For clothes that are *stained or torn* Small Threads has a partnership with Ridwell, so those items will be recycled instead of ending up in the landfill! We will have two *separate* boxes in the office for you to put your donated clothes and shoes. We will run this initiative for the entire school year so you can do this anytime! Thank you for supporting our school and helping to keep our planet a little greener!

Recycle!

The Cougar Ridge Green Team and PTSA are proud to offer two specialty item recycling bins!  One for markers, pens and pencils.  Our newest bin, which was purchased using funds from the Spirit Swap is for glue sticks and glue bottles.

Please make sure to only put the correct items in each box

Both bins are located by the front office.

Thank you for doing your part to help protect our planet!
