Volunteer Opportunities

Room Parent Volunteers:  Looking for a way to get more involved with your child’s class? Room parents help your teacher plan classroom parties and act as a liaison between the PTSA and your class.  Please talk directly to your teacher if you are interested in filling this role for your child’s class.  Feel free to reach out to Jana Horton with any questions.

There are still many important chair positions open on the PTSA for 2021-2022! YOU are important and have the skills we need!  Please contact Julie Chang if you have any questions or are interested in getting involved.

Volunteer Application Process:  All volunteers in Issaquah Schools are required to complete the annual Volunteer Application for 2021-22 school year.  This year, we will be phasing in our volunteers by starting with those that support academic and social emotional programming first.  We will communicate more information once we hear more from ISD.

Contribute Pictures to the Yearbook!

We will be collecting photos throughout the year so that we can create a fun and memorable yearbook for the 2021-2022 school year.  Please make sure all photos are of current Cougar Ridge students and please don’t include multiple versions of the same photo.

Below are links to upload photos that you would like to include in the yearbook:

First Day of School, Meet the Teacher, and Kindergarten Night

Halloween Costumes and Pumpkin Carvings

Holiday Celebrations

New Year / Lunar New Year Celebrations

Group (Cougar Ridge students only) or individual photos of kids in their sport, dance, cheer, etc. uniforms.

Students enjoying sledding, snowman building etc. on Snow Days

Students on PNW hikes and camping adventures

Students practicing musical instruments at home

Students enjoying baking or cooking at home

Students enjoying painting, sculpting, or drawing at home

We would also like to celebrate 5th graders in an special way.  If you would like to participate, please upload a current photo of your 5th grader doing their favorite activity, with their favorite pet, from their favorite vacation, or just being themselves from this past year.  Once again, please only upload ONE photo of your 5th grader.
